First of all, we should have an insight of transmitting performance for different materials.
The ordinary ultraviolet lamp tube is made of low-cost high-boron glass. And high-boron glass’s ultraviolet-transmitting performance is not very good, which causes the ultraviolet ray intensity down to weaken and affect the sterilization effec, but also causes light decay largely and practically shorten the working life. And UV transmission performance of the quartz tube is much higher than that of high borosilicate glass. So its sterilization efficiency and working life will be much better than high borosilicate glass. Then the price of quartz tube will be more expensive. Generally, wave band with the best of ultraviolet sterilization effect is between 250nm and 280nm. The annealed JGS2 quartz glass material is currently the main production material for ultraviolet lamps. As studies show, the quartz lens’ transmitting rate for UVC can reach 93%,while for plastic, glass or other materials, the transmitting rates are much lower than that of quartz lens’, in other words, other materials can almost block 100% UVC rays.
In other words, The transmitting rate of UVC to quartz tube is much higher than other materials.

1. Ultraviolet lamp, please don't look directly at the light source with naked eyes! Please wear special goggles when testing!
2. Please read the product manual carefully before installation and use;
3. The power output must be DC12V;
4. This product is light and easy to place. In order to avoid damaging the product, please send it to the professional for installation, repair and maintenance;
5. Please understand the label on the lamp package when wiring;
6 when the external power supply must be cut off for wiring, in order to prevent personnel from touching or damaging the lamp, the product must be installed before power on after installation;
7. When the external power line is used outdoors, waterproof and water leakage measures should be taken;
8 Do not press the LED surface;
9. It is forbidden to use any adhesive of acid or alkaline type to contact with this product;
