Ⅳ.Preparations before installation

Determine the installation location and application scenario of the LED mesh light. Different scenarios require different installation methods and protection standards. For instance, in indoor dry environments and outdoor humid environments, the requirements for the waterproof grade of lamps and the selection of fixed accessories are different.


The coverage area and hanging height of the net lights need to be planned according to the size of the installation area. Mark the installation positions of power sockets and controllers to ensure wiring is convenient to connect and aesthetically concealed.

To install LED mesh lights, you need to prepare basic tools such as electric drills 、
power adapter(must match the voltage and power of the mesh light)、controller、screws and hooks (or other fixing accessories) . When installing at heights, ladders or folding scaffolding should also be used.


Ⅴ. Installation process


Step 1: Install the hoisting beam

As the load-bearing foundation of the screen body, first determine the installation position of the hanging beam and make positioning marks.  Fix the hanging beam to the building structure through embedded parts to ensure a firm installation without tilting.


Step 2: Fix the mesh screen

First, set up the support frame on the hanging beam.  Then fix the single grid screen module to the frame.  For indoor use, you can apply back adhesive and add clips.  For outdoor use, additional screws can be used for reinforcement to prevent the module from shaking.


Step 3: Splicing the mesh screen

Assemble the modules layer by layer from bottom to top, control the gaps between the modules well, and ensure that the overall surface is flat after assembly.  If it is an arc-shaped installation, connect it along the curved characteristics of the screen body to avoid damage.


Step 4: Install the sub-control

Install the sub-controller near the module.  If it is outdoors, put it in a waterproof box.  Fix the sub-controller on the frame and make proper markings for convenient subsequent maintenance.


Step 5: Connect the sub-control, power supply and network cable

Connect the power supply and network cable to the sub-controller respectively, and pay attention to the correspondence between the positive and negative poles and the interface.  Waterproof treatment should be done for the outdoor connection parts, and the cables should be fixed with wire clamps to prevent loosening. 


Step 6:  Connect the controller to the computer and debug the software

Connect the controller, the sub-controller and the computer, power on and see if the screen can light up normally.Install the control software, adjust the color and display effect, and ensure no dark spots, no color cast. After installation, organize the wires properly. Outdoor screens must be properly grounded for lightning protection. The data of the equipment should be kept well and the waterproof components should be inspected regularly on a regular basis.


Ⅵ. Power-on test, troubleshooting and adjustment effect

The connection of circuits is a crucial step in the installation of LED mesh lights. It is necessary to operate strictly in accordance with the norms to ensure the safety of electricity usage. After the connection of the lines is completed, do not rush to fix the lines and hide the accessories. First, conduct a power-on test to ensure that the grid lights are working properly and promptly identify any faults.
