America 



ENERGY STAR (trademark ENERGY STAR) is an energy efficiency program conducted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The program uses different standardized methods to provide information on products and equipment. Information on energy consumption. The ENERGY STAR label appears on more than 75 different certified product categories, homes, commercial buildings and industrial plants. In the U.S., the ENERGY STAR label also appears on the Energy Guide appliance label for qualifying products.



DLC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance efficient lighting through open dialogue and collaboration to define quality, promote thought leadership, and provide the lighting market with tools and resources.

DLC certification is a utility-based program. Many organizations in the U.S. and Canada have rebate programs based on DLC standards for products including high bays, wall assemblies, road lighting, retrofit kits, LED panels, and more.



Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a global safety certification company approved to perform safety testing on most products. It tests not only electrical and fire safety, but broader safety issues such as hazardous substances, environmental sustainability, food safety, and more.



The ETL mark is short for Edison Testing Laboratories, part of an equipment safety certification program operated by Intertek Laboratories. ETL certification is required for products exported to the United States and Canada. The ETL mark indicates that the product has passed the US NRTL and/or Canada SCC acceptance test. The ETL mark been known as have the same effect as the UL or CSA mark and complies with the relevant safety standards.



FCC certification is a product certification for electrical and electronic products that are primarily sold or produced in the United States. The certification typically authenticates that the radio frequency generated from a product is within the requirements set by the (FCC) Federal Communications Commission

TUV is German for Technischer Überwachungsverein, which means Technical Inspection Association. These associations are independent companies responsible for certifying technologies, tests and inspections, products and systems to prevent potential hazards from occurring.



The GS mark is a voluntary certification scheme for technical equipment. Obtaining the GS mark means that the product complies with the requirements laid down by the German Product Safety Act, and the relevant European safety standards also apply.



WEEE( Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)directive aims to minimize the environmental impact of such equipment during the product life cycle and when it becomes waste. PSE certification is a compulsory certification mark required for many electrical appliances and materials to enter the Japanese market. According to the Japan Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act (DENAN), products that require a PSE mark are divided into two categories.

Australia 



The Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) is a mandatory approval mark for telecommunications, electrical and wireless products in Australia and New Zealand. It is a combined mark that covers EMC, radio, telecommunications, electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and electrical safety regulatory requirements.



SAA Approvals is a third party accreditation body accredited by the Joint Accreditation Service of Australia and New Zealand to issue certificates for electrical equipment that has been shown to comply with the safety requirements of the applicable Australian Standards.

IDA's main mission is " not only to protect the nighttime environment through quality outdoor lighting but also protect the dark sky we leave behind.



The D Mark is the Danish safety mark and means that UL has evaluated a representative sample of the product and determined that they meet the safety requirements of European standards and Danish national differences.



Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test measures the ability of a device or system to operate satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment without introducing intolerable electromagnetic interference to anything in that environment.



NSF is an accredited independent third-party certification body that tests and certifies products to verify that they meet these public health and safety standards. Products that meet these standards carry the NSF mark.
