At present, the power of the deep-ultraviolet 275-nanometer band LED in the entire ultraviolet industry is very small, and its efficient sterilization depends on extremely high illuminance per unit area, rather than high power. The illuminance per unit area of UVC-LED is inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

There is no denying that ultraviolet rays are very harmful to the human body. After long-term exposure to the human body, it will cause harm to the skin and eyes, causing symptoms such as severe eye pain, photophobia, tearing, and blepharospasm, and it will also induce keratitis, conjunctivitis, etc. disease. The uvc ultraviolet lamp is a short-wave ultraviolet C light with a wavelength between 200 and 280 nanometers. The wavelength is the shortest and most dangerous. It can be blocked by the ozone layer and will not reach the surface of the earth, and will not harm human skin. Everyone has a different tolerance for ultraviolet rays, depending on the cumulative amount of sunlight to a certain limit, it will cause harm.

But actually, beyond the working distance of ultraviolet sterilization, deep ultraviolet LED has little effect on human skin; in addition, deep ultraviolet LED is small in size and easy to hide design. Ordinary glass and plastic less than 0.1 mm thick can completely absorb deep ultraviolet. So as long as the design is reasonable, the safety of UV LED products can be guaranteed.

Furthermore, 222nm Far UVC Excimer lamp is provided currently, which is safe for human disinfection, even if we are closed to the lamp, it doesn't harm to us.
